We are making a 3D robot fighting game, where the player can build their own robot out of predefined parts. Each part will have one of these functions:
- move the robot (wheels, propeller, maybe jet engine)
- function as arms (joints that rotate and arms that extend)
- weapons (saw, flamethrower, mine-planter, magnet to grab others? room for creativity here!)
Those parts can be plugged into standardized sockets on the robot base part, but also into each other, if the parts have sockets themselves. Given the possibilities of combining those parts, the game will be much of a physics sandbox.
